Originally scheduled to release as part of the Black Friday 2015 pandemonium, Friday 29th January 2016 will see the anticipated release of the adidas Originals x Pusha T EQT Guidance 93. Following on from last years all-white fish scale EQT Guidance Running ’93 this year King Push presents a triple-black version. Retaining the carp style fish scale detailing round the heel, cracked Italian leather covers the rest of the shoe and the lace tags on each foot are engraved with his moniker “KING” “PUSH”.

2015 was a very busy year for Asics having celebrated 25 years of the Gel-Lyte III. 2016 sees Asics continue to collaborate with heavyweight brands and influencers and this January sees Asics team up with Tokyo based Kicks Lab and Sneaker customiser OG, Mark Ong, better known as SBTG (Sabotage). Using a botanically inspired camo and utilising his traditional military-inspired aesthetic, the upper mixes tan, brown and khaki detailing. Quilted nylon features on the toe, a white midsole adds a little bit of contrast whereas a tan outsole links in well to the upper. A nice little touch is the removable, Velcro attached, suede tongue label which is most definitely a nod to removable patches seen on military uniforms.

The back end of 2015 saw adidas Originals top off a hugely successful year with the release of the adidas NMD. Saturday 30th January will see Adidas release the second instalment of the new and highly celebrated NMD, this time featuring Primeknit uppers. Will adidas' reign continue to flourish in 2016? It looks as if Nike's latest collaboration with Supreme will be on the Nike Air Max 98. Crisp White Uppers feature a textured Overlay with Supreme's 'World Famous' slogan embroidered on the heel.
